Gameweek analysis and fantasy decisions

Full editorial articles refreshed after each completed gameweek. The numbers support the argument, while the focus stays on decisions: who to buy, who to hold, where the risk sits, and how fixtures and ownership should influence your plan.

Transfers · GW7 Best Transfers for GW8

The best transfer before GW8 is not automatically the player who scored most last week. A useful move combines current form, dependable minutes, price, ownership risk and a schedule that can support the player beyond one fixture. This Roshn FDR review ranks the leading candidates, explains the trade-offs behind each option and separates genuinely useful moves from transfers that may simply be chasing points that have already happened.

Captaincy · GW7 Best Captain Options for GW8

Captaincy is the weekly decision that magnifies both upside and downside, so the answer should not simply be the highest-owned player or the season points leader. Before GW8, the strongest candidates combine reliable minutes, sustainable form, an attractive matchup and enough attacking ceiling to justify doubling the score. This review identifies the safer captain, the nearest challengers and a more aggressive route for managers willing to accept extra rank volatility.

Differentials · GW7 5 Differential Picks for GW8

A useful differential is not simply an obscure player. The best low-owned options have a credible route to points and enough ownership leverage to matter when they return. Before GW8, this shortlist looks for five players whose case does not depend on one goal or one exceptional gameweek, then checks minutes, form, price and the upcoming schedule. The aim is calculated risk: a player you can hold if the first fixture disappoints, not a punt that needs an immediate perfect outcome.

Elite analysis · GW7 What Are the Top 1,000 Managers Doing? GW7 Review

Tracking the Top 1,000 managers is not an invitation to copy their teams. It is a way to understand where rank risk is concentrated and where genuine differences appear. After GW7, this review looks at the most-owned players, captaincy and chip use, then compares broader elite samples when the same data is available. The important question is not simply who is popular, but whether that popularity forms a stable core worth respecting or creates an opportunity to move differently when your own data supports it.

Fixtures · GW7 Best Fixture Runs from GW8 to GW12

A good schedule does not guarantee fantasy points, but it changes how many chances your squad gets to make productive decisions. From GW8 to GW12, this review looks for clubs with a favourable run rather than one attractive matchup, then separates attacking and defensive difficulty. The goal is not to buy three players from the first team on the list; it is to identify which clubs deserve attention and which positions can be targeted with a stronger multi-week case.

Gameweek review · GW7 GW7 Review: What Did We Learn?

GW7 is complete, but the useful part is not simply repeating the results. The job now is to decide which signals deserve to carry into GW8. The current snapshot contains 30 goals across 9 matches, with 185 total shots and 68 on target. Those numbers, combined with player output, help separate repeatable performance from results that may look stronger than the underlying match itself.

Defenders · GW7 Best Defenders for the Upcoming Run after GW7

Choosing defenders for the upcoming run needs a wider view than the current points table. A useful option should offer dependable minutes, a role that suits the position, a price that helps squad structure and a schedule with repeated opportunities rather than one attractive fixture. After GW7, this Roshn FDR ranking explains where the strongest profiles sit, where value appears and where a popular name may be more expensive or more fragile than it first looks.

Midfielders · GW7 Best Midfielders for the Upcoming Run after GW7

Choosing midfielders for the upcoming run needs a wider view than the current points table.

Market moves · GW7 Most-Bought Players before GW8: Are They Worth It?

The most-bought list shows where the market is moving, but it does not tell us on its own whether the market is right. Before GW8, this review checks the leading transfer targets against form, minutes, price and the upcoming schedule. The aim is to separate players whose data supports the buying wave from those benefiting from a fast reaction to one gameweek, so a transfer becomes part of a plan rather than an attempt to follow the crowd.

Market moves · GW7 Most-Sold Players before GW8: Is It Time to Sell?

A selling wave can reveal a real problem with availability or form, but it can also be an exaggerated response to one quiet gameweek. Before GW8, this review checks the most transferred-out players against minutes, form, fixtures and the quality of the replacement. The aim is to avoid two opposite mistakes: holding an asset whose value has genuinely collapsed, or selling a useful player just before a fixture run that could restore returns.

Value · GW7 Best Value Picks by Position before GW8

Fantasy value does not mean buying the cheapest player. It means getting usable minutes, a credible role and enough output for the price while preserving budget flexibility. Before GW8, this review identifies a value route in each position and asks whether the saving is genuinely useful or simply comes at the cost of playing time and quality. The aim is to distribute money intelligently without turning the cheap slots into weaknesses you never want to start.

Injuries & replacements · GW7 Best Replacements for Injured or Doubtful Players before GW8

An availability flag does not automatically mean a player must be sold, but it creates a question that needs resolving before the deadline: wait for clarity or convert the risk into more reliable minutes. Before GW8, this review uses only the status and participation information present in the current feed, then looks for same-position replacements in a similar price range. It does not invent diagnoses or return dates; the focus is risk management and a practical fallback plan.

What does this page add?

We do more than reproduce a fixture list or transfer totals. Overall, attacking and defensive difficulty, expected goals, and buying or selling pressure are combined into practical signals that can be compared.

The best club outlook is not always identical to the easiest schedule. A club may have attractive attacking fixtures but a tougher defensive run, so combined outlook, schedule difficulty, attack and defense are shown separately.

Combined outlook · GW8–GW10

Best projected clubs

The ranking combines scoring opportunity, clean-sheet outlook and overall fixture difficulty. A higher score means a more favourable outlook in the selected window.

Methodology

How should these predictions be read?

1

Best clubs

FDR values from 1 to 5 are converted into an ease score, with more weight on attack and then defense, plus a small double-gameweek bonus and a clear blank-gameweek penalty.

2

Schedule difficulty

The ranking uses the average overall difficulty of incomplete fixtures. Blank gameweeks are added to the schedule index rather than hidden from the calculation.

3

Price prediction

The model measures buying or selling direction, movement relative to the total game and player ownership, then adds form for rises and availability risk for falls.

Important questions before using the analysis

Are these official predictions?

No. Roshn FDR is independent, and the predictions are generated by our model from available schedule and market data.

Does a high signal mean the price will change today?

No. It means market pressure was relatively stronger at the latest sync. Official timing and thresholds are not fully public.

Should I sell a player only because the schedule is hard?

Not automatically. Position, price, role, form and alternatives should also be considered. FDR is one decision factor rather than the only factor.
